The Executive Chairman,Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB Comrade Abdullahi Ndalayi Suleiman has reiterated his commitment towards strengthen the war against corruption in the board.
He made the statement when he received a delegation from the State Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) led by the Commissioner Bar Chile Patrick Ogwuegbu on a sensitization visit to the Board.
Comrade Suleiman in his welcomed address expressed delight over the visit and commended the Commissioner for his proactive measure in the campaign against corruption in the state and urged the commission to extend the campaign to the grassroots.
The Chairman who also acknowledged his familiarity with the Corrupt and other related offences as well as their penalties said he is ready to collaborate with the Commission to bring sanity to its bearest minimum in the Board.
In his response, the Commissioner in charge of the Kogi State Independence Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) Barr Chile Patrick Ogwuegbu said their purpose of the visit was to sensitize the public on the possible offences that can be committed and appropriate penalties attached so as to prevent them from becoming victims as preventing corruption is better than being invited for interrogation.
