The Wife of The Executive Governor of Kogi State,Mrs Rashida Yahaya Bello,hosted apc women leaders in the state,local government administrators wives and local government/ward women leaders,to a dinner at the state’s Government house in lokoja.
Mrs Rashida Yahaya Bello,said that the dinner was held in appreciation of the women’s participation and support in the concluded election.she also said that the dinner was to recognize the significant role played by women and youths during our campaigns within and across the state and their massive turnout during the election that brought about the victory of our party.
She also urged kogites to continue to support the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in its bid to reposition the state and consolidate on the foundation he has laid for the economic development of The State.
In her remarks, the secretary to the state government,Dr. Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike said that the administration of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello places very high premium on women involvement and active participation in governance.
She also appreciated the roles of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in making sure that women in the state participate actively in politics.
Also present at the event were Wife of the Speaker,Kogi State House of Assembly, Mrs Zainab Esther Kolawole,Apc Women Leader,Hajiya Rabi Haruna, the Hon commissioner for Women Affairs,Hon.Mrs Fatima Kabir Buba,Hon. Senior Special Assistants to the Governor on Women Affairs,Hon.Mrs Ishaya Omotayo among others.
