Earlier today, the Management of Kogi State Science, Technical Education & Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM) has launched a new, open and transparent internal e-recruitment process to identify and engage the best and most competent officers from within the organization to fill up vacant leadership positions in the Commission, while consciously working to entrench equity, fairness and justice in the Spirit of EbIgO.
This is in line with His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello’s agenda of openness, transparency, equity, fairness and justice in governance while deploying digital technology to improve governance in the State.
In a complete departure from the past, the leadership of the Commission today unveiled a new online process of announcing internal vacancies in the Commission, thereby creating opportunity for all qualified and interested staff to apply for such positions in a bid to get the most competent officer to fill the vacant position.
It may be recalled that the Commission also pioneered e-Recruitment in the State in 2019 when it opened up an online portal for the statewide Teacher recruitment exercise through which over 30,000 applications were submitted.
According to the Commission Chairman, Mr. Afolabi Joseph-Raji, ‘the Management of the Commission is poised to continually raise the bar and introduce best practices to all aspects of its operations to improve service delivery in line with the New Direction Mandate of taking the State to the Next Level’
