In keeping with the renewed vigour of providing articulated information on the giant stride achievements on good governance under the watch of Governor Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has prepared the ministry in readiness to package and produce a world-class international standard magazine to improve the good image of the state.

The proposed magazine which is titled ‘ Doing More’ shall be a quarterly publication of the state Information and Communications ministry; a nobel initiative of the commissioner to strengthen the ministry’s information dissemination activities.

While inaugurating the editorial board of the magazine, Hon. Fanwo charged the team to dwell more on contents that spotlight the positive impact of government policies on the state’s economy and those of the citizens of the state.

He emphasized the need for contents that would showcase the sectorial achievements of various ministries and agencies of government to be the hallmark of the magazine; saying that the government had done a lot that needed to be constantly projected and publicised for the public to read and appreciate.

The Director of Information Services in the Ministry, Mr. Jordan Akpata who commended the Commissioner for the laudable initiative pledged the commitment of members to giving their best into the new assignment.

The Hon. Commissioner, Hon. Fanwo is to act as the Chairman of the editorial board, Mr Jordan Apata as the Editor in Chief, Mr. Adurodija Ebenizer as Deputy Editor in Chief while Mr. Sunday Adeniyi is to serve as the Editor.

Other members of the board are Mrs Modupe Adegboro, Mr. Solomon Musa, Mrs Olajumonke Obatomi Mrs Princess Funsho Sumanu and
Mr Odofin Phillip Olurotimi.

The board held its maiden meeting immediately after the inauguration to map out modalities of operation.
