Kogi State Government pledge to provide water for all residents

The commissioner for water Resources , Hon Abdulmumini Danga , has plegded
the state government commitment to provide portable water to all citizens of the state. The commissioner made this commitment recently in his office when he received the Justice, development and peace commission advocacy group.

Danga, said reticulation of Greater Lokoja water to Felele, zango, Crusher and others will be given due attention very soon by the government. Stating that Kogi is a confluence state therefore the citizens must all enjoy water.
Speaking earlier, the project officer of JDPC Mr, Simon Enejo congratulated the new commissioner on his appointment and charge the government on the need to improve access to clean portable water.

He equally charge the ministry to ensure that the present staff strength is boosted to increase productivity. While commending the state government on rehabilitation and expansion of Okene waterworks he urge the government to do same in other abandoned water projects across the state .
