The Program was organised by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources in collaboration with Natioanal Orientation Agency(NOA) Kogi State Directorate.

Hon. He highlighted some of the harmful effect of Open defecation in the Country, ranging from contamination of soil, water and food, atmospheric pollution and faecal-oral infections such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery and diarrhoea.

He appreciates the National Orientation Agency(NOA) Kogi State Directorate and Federal Ministry of Water Resources for the conceptualisation of such idea, it was a timely one, he said.
