In a bid to actualise the mandate of the New Direction Blueprint of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the State Commissioner of Works and Housing, Engr Abubakar Sadiq Ohere has charged all the stakeholders in the Ministry on quality performance and prompt job delivery.
The Commissioner gave the charge during a routine stakeholder’s meeting aimed at evaluating performances in all the road construction works currently going on across the State.
Engr Ohere noted that all that is required of our contractors is job delivery on target, stressing that contractors need to put into consideration seasonal effect on the construction jobs and directed all the construction companies to submit an update work plan that will put into cognisance seasonal effect on general construction works.
The contractors assured the Government that completion and job delivery shall be done on target in line with the campaign promises and the actualization of the New Direction blueprint.
Ohere thanked His Excellency for the giving the Ministry enabling environment to carry out her job effectively and promised a strict supervision, monitoring and evaluation for effective project execution.
