The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo has charged Information Officers of various Ministries of the State to maintain a highest level of professionalism while staying on top of their game.
Evangelist Fanwo gave the charge when he met with Information Officers of the State in a maiden meeting held in his office.
Speaking on the rationale behind the meeting, the Commissioner pointed out that, it is important that the Ministry tackles headlong the challenges which have hindered Information Officers of the State from functioning effectively.
He urged the Information Officers to shun all forms of laziness and negligence to duty, but be proactive in their various Ministries as part of effort to project the State.
He said all hands must be on desk to achieve the set goals of the Ministry of Information and Communication.
Evangelist Fanwo however promised to remove bottlenecks to enhance productivity and efficient service delivery.
He urged the Information Officers to make do with what they have on ground, promising that modalities for a smooth working environment will soon be put in place.
