The Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Asiwaju Idris has reinstated the present administration’s commitment to embark on sustainable programmes in the State.
The Commissioner stated this at a meeting with the Party youth leaders across the State who paid him a courtesy call in his office.
Hon Idris, commended them on their efforts for the victory the party and its candidate recorded in the last gubernatorial elections in the state, saying the victory of the governor, has further demonstrated the goodwill he enjoys from the people of the State.
He said the government of Alh Yahaya Bello is designing policies and programmes that will be beneficiary especially to the youths,to help them achieve their dreams in their chosen areas of specialisation
The Commissioner said the Government is putting plans in place to assist the youths financially to help boost their businesses with the purpose of expanding it, create more employment and boost the economy of the state.
While thanking them for their visit, the Commissioner urged them to keep supporting the present administration for the betterment of the Party members at all levels in the State.
He assured them of the government’s commitment to the Cassava revolution farm in the State, adding that an MOU has been signed with the Central Bank and the programme will commence very soon.
Earlier, the Forum Chairman, Mallam Saidu Dauda, while presenting the Commissioner with a gift said the purpose of their visit was to congratulate the Commissioner on his recent reappointment, to pledge their unflinching support and also, to appeal to the Governor to carry them along in his programmes especially the people at the rural areas.
