The kogi Chambers of commerce shower praises on Governor yahaya Bello, says the appointment of Hon David apeh is a square peg in square hole.
The president of the Chambers of commerce, in the person of, mrs Grace obafemi made this known today at the ministry of Agriculture in lokoja in the company of her executive members,
She noted that Agricultural sector is a very important sector with lots of opportunities which can not be overlooked, she stressed how blessed kogi is with Agriculture and Agricultural produce, And that if properly harnessed with all its potentials, it can become the food basket of the Nation.
She also inform the commissioner of an event coming up soon schedule to hold in Abuja, organized by the Bangladesh high commissioner to Nigeria and will take place at The Bangladesh embassy.
She noted that the chambers of commerce want to partner, and synergize with the ministry of Agric to be able to lead a powerful delegation to the event, especially in areas of Agriculture, to seek for the ministry expertise, their technical know How for the presentation at the event.
Responding, The Hon commissioner, thank the delegation and commended them on the visit and also promise them of the ministry full support and that the ministry is looking forward to a harmonious relationship with them that will lead to a great success of the ministry and kogi at large and also promise to be in attendance all things been equal by Gods will.
He added that the present kogi state Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello is very pro active and highly motivated in turning Agriculture in the state to become the the best in the world with every little opportunity that come its way. The commissioner stressed how he seriously want to succeed in any assignment given to him and also stressed how important it is for every one to contribute their quota the best way they can to attain greater height in Agricultural sector in the state.
