Mrs Durojaiye, a resident of Ganaja village while commending the Ministry’s activeness to road maintenance advised the citizens to complement the yielding effort of the state government by avoiding indiscriminate waste disposal. She equally charged the government to checkmate the activities of fuel station owners as well as shop owners along the route as their unprofessional total covering of the drainages, instead of removable slabs always result in blockage thus making maintenance of the drainage systems very difficult.
The Zero-pothole operation which has been on for a while in the capital city of Lokoja is said to extend to other parts of the state in due time with a view to keep our state trunk roads in good shape and up to standard.
