Engr Ohere, while inspecting the ongoing civil works at the State Specialist Hospital Lokoja and Okene Reference Hospital expressed satisfaction with the scope and level of works currently going on at the two sites.

He further directed the contractors to adhere strictly to the approved design and safety standards.

Engr. Ohere, then, pointed out that Gov. Bello administration has made great impact in the health sector by implementing health reforms such as Kogi State Health Insurance Scheme, Kogi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (KSPHCDA), Bello Cares initiative and above all Okene reference hospital bill recently passed into Law by the Kogi State House of Assembly.

He also commended the generosity of the Chief of Staff to Governor Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu in his efforts at providing free medical healthcare support services to kogites particularly for the cancer patients as tremendous and worthy of emulation by all.

He expressed joy over the recently kind gesture, Pharm. Asuku extended to one Mrs. Onyi Moses from Ozuja, Obehira in Okene Local Government who was diagnosed with breast tumor and prayed for lifetime sustainability of this humanitarian service.
