Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Evang Kingsley Fanwo has desrcibed the death of Hon. John Abbah, the member representing Ibaji State Constituency at the state House of Assembly as a monumental loss and of deep pain to the people of the state.
Fanwo said the people are indded grieved that the lawmaker was sadly cut short by the cold hands of death earlier today; saying it is sad and a heavy loss to the state.
He remembered the late lawmaker, Hon. Abbah for propagating peace and unity in the state; describing him as a man who gave his all for the progress of the All Progressives Party(APC) and the entire state.
Fanwo commiserates with the immediate family of the Late Hon. Abbah, the Speaker of Kogi House of Assembly and the entire people of Ibaji over this sad event; describing it as very touching.
He prays that God will comfort the immediate and the state House of Assembly families at this trying times.
In the same vein, the Commissioner has condoled with Hon. Abdullahi Balogun, the majority leader of the state House of Assembly and member representing Ajaokuta State Constituency over the death of his father, Alhaji Hassan Balogun.
He urged the family of the deseased to take solace in worthy life lived by the elder statesman and the good name he maintained when he served as the chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government Area.
Fanwo prays that God will give the Balogun family and the entire Ajaokuta people the fortitude to bear the loss.
